How long does the certification process take?

The Santa Barbara County Green Business Program is moving toward a Green Business Academy model to provide businesses the tools and training they need to green their operations and get recognized as a Certified Green Business. The Green Business Academy is a series of four half-day workshops over a four month period. Academies will only be offered once a year in the fall, and the only way to get certified is to participate in the academy.

However, if your business is ready to move forward at a pace faster than 4 months, we can work with you to make that happen.
