How are the Santa Barbara County Green Business standards developed?

Santa Barbara Green Business standards are developed by our program partners and agencies with input from industry experts, utility companies, and trade associations. The standards incorporate additional ordinances and environmental services specific to individual cities within our county as applicable.

We also work with the California Green Business Program to ensure our local standards are consistent with programs throughout the state.
